simple particle simulation with polar projection node written in Vex / openCL,it runs at 10fps on my MacBook. feeding multiple particles stream’s.

I am starting to experiment some Non Photorealistic Rendering. First I am starting off with non animation Versions.

I am trying to get some pencil lines into the rendering. First tests, I am using instanced polygon lines.
I use some method like in this digraph paper to create a saintly look.
The rendering is slow and its hard to a get good reading on detailed Models. But it works much better for low poly models.
starting some concept modeling and look development for new short movie i have in my mind.
modeled in modo. same rendering are done in modo and same in houdini. i’ve decided to animation and rendering in houdini. the package have much more controls and mantra produce motionblur with no extra render time. this is a import factor because i am playing to everything on my imac.
